Purchase an online class with video training that you may take at your leisure at home or in your workspace. The online exam returns immediate results and you may print your certification from home. The Exam comes with the option to retake the exam a second time if you fail the first time. Free certificate reprints if you lose your certificate.
The class and exam are ANSI approved and valid in all states and territories.

The class and exam may be taken in a classroom setting at 131 Airport Road, 2nd Floor, Room 2.
Exams may be taken on paper if preferred.

On site classes
On site classes are still offered for groups of 4 or more. Exams may be paper or computer exams. For computer exams, students must supply their own laptop or tablet. Computer tests yield immediate results and ability to print the certificate.
Online video training fulfills the Massachusetts requirement for allergen training. An exam follows the instruction and certification is printable immediately.

Insure all your employees are aware of and are practicing safe food handling procedures. Video training is followed by an exam and ability to immediately print their certification.

Caster Consulting is recognized by the Rhode Island Department of Health as a 3rd Party school inspector. School systems may insure that they receive 2 inspections a year by contracting Caster Consulting to perform two inspections a year and post them on the Department of Health website.
Food establishments can schedule inspections to make corrections before visits by the health department.
1.) Caster Restaurant Consulting can help set up procedures and record keeping required by the Department of Health. Protect your business by completing the proper record keeping.
2.) If the Health Department requires you to hire a consultant to train or help set up proper cooling, reheating, hot or cold holding procedures.
1.) The Rhode Island Department of Health now requires a HACCP or Safe Food Plan for any new business or any business that has moved and will be reopening. Writing the plan can be time consuming and frustrating. Plans are normally returned by the Health Department for revisions or completeness.
